The Bong Bong sneaker backpack is now available! This is the third Solepack collaboration with Bobbito García aka "Kool Bob Love” over the years. The limited edition release accompanies his latest project: Bobbito’s Book of B-Ball Bong Bong! A Memoir of Sports, Style, & Soul.
Bong Bong reminds us of “the why” we started and keep going for the heart of the game. The sights and sounds of Bob's journey are uniquely captured in our collab. His beautiful 35mm schoolyard image on the OMEGA backpack is from the opening spread of the memoir, shot 15 years ago on 137th and Amsterdam in Harlem. The bag is a traveling art piece that speaks volumes about how we craft our hoop dreams.
The whole Solepack team is humbled to create this iconic backpack to celebrate Kool Bob Love, basketball culture, and community, as well as pay true tribute to a giant in the game.
We pay homage to our NYC playground roots and respect to the OGs that paved the way in b-ball, sneaker and hip hop culture. We're amped to release another exclusive bag collaboration with a true visionary, ballplayer, DJ, filmmaker and author. Much love to Bobbito García!!
